Petroplus Holdings AG Principal Activities and Company Overview
Petroplus Holdings AG, together with its subsidiaries is one of the largest independent refiners and wholesalers of petroleum products in Europe. The Company are focused on refining and currently own and operate seven refineries across Europe. The North Sea System includes the Coryton Refinery in Coryton, United Kingdom, the Belgium Refining Corporation (�BRC�) Refinery in Antwerp, Belgium and the Teesside Refinery in Teesside, United Kingdom. The Inland Market System includes the Petit Couronne Refinery in Petit Couronne, France, the Ingolstadt Refinery in Ingolstadt, Germany, the Reichstett Refinery in Reichstett, France and the Cressier Refinery in Cressier, Switzerland. The seven refineries have a combined throughput capacity of approximately 864,000 barrels per day. The Company also own and operate a bitumen and middle distillate processing facility in Antwerp, Belgium. The Company sell refined petroleum products on an unbranded basis to distributors and end customers, primarily in the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Switzerland and the Benelux countries as well, as on the global spot market.
